GH SKATE STANDARD BOOTS SIZING GUIDE

What Is GH Standard Size ?

GH Standard Size is the highly precise sizing system used for GH Skates (typically figure or roller skates), which significantly differs from general footwear sizing.

GH Skates understands that sizing accuracy is the cornerstone of skating performance. That's why we've elevated "standard sizing" beyond the competition with a precise measurement system and adjustable options that deliver a fit close to your feets

Precise Foot Length Options

GH Skates excels by offering a wide range of sizes based on foot length in millimeters (mm), allowing you to select the size that matches your actual foot length accurately. Forget guesswork or relying on irrelevant street shoe sizes:

  • 4mm Interval Precision: Our skate sizes feature a fine difference of only 4 millimeters (4 mm) between each size. This precision is crucial because your feet cannot use regular shoe sizes, allowing you to choose a size that perfectly bridges the gap between conventional sizes.
  • Measure Your Feet: To ensure a direct match, please measure your foot length in millimeters using our sizing chart. Choosing based on general shoe sizes will lead to an incorrect fit.

Comprehensive Width Choices

In addition to precise lengths, we offer multiple width options to accommodate various foot shapes:

  • B - For Extra Narrow Feet
  • B - For Narrow Feet
  • C - For Average/Standard Feet
  • D - For Wider Feet

The combination of detailed foot length measurements in millimeters and multiple width options ensures you get a skate boot that feels incredibly comfortable and supportive.

Time To Measure

Simply measuring a static foot when sitting down in the morning will not give you the correct size. When the foot is under load and in warm conditions, the size can increase by 5%. For this reason, we recommend measuring your feet in the late afternoon to give a better approximation of your foot when skating.

Important

We recommend you to avoid choosing your skates based solely on the size of the boot. To accurately measure your feet’s length and width, kindly choose your size by referring to the chart below. If you have questions about sizing your GH boots, please contact us. Email: salesteam@ghskates.com.

We will be happy to help you!

Step 1

The tip of the ruler (Be sure to take a picture of the ruler against the wall without your foot on. This is so that you can be aware of exactly how much space is needed to be adjusted from the measurement.)

Be sure to take a picture of the ruler against the wall without your foot on. This is so that you can be aware of exactly how much space is needed to be adjusted from the measurement.

Step 2

Put your ruler against the wall first. Then, place your foot on the ruler with your heel touching the wall slightly.

Please do not put your foot against the wall that is not vertical to your foot, similar to the picture as below. Doing so will give you an inaccurate measurement of your foot when photographed.

Step 3

Please take the photo of your feet length vertically downward. The length of your right foot.

Step 4

Step on the ruler using the widest part of your foot. Take the photo of your feet width vertically downward. The width of your right foot. After that, take the higher value and subtract the lower value that you read to calculate the width.

Please do not take the photo as shown below where the foot is against the wall

After completing the previous steps, please compare your measurements with the sizing chart provided below as accurately as possible. If your foot size does not correspond with the chart, we highly recommend considering semi-custom boots to ensure a better fit and enhanced comfort.

Please note: that we are unable to accept returns for incorrect sizes. (Standard Sizing)

Therefore, it is essential to measure your feet carefully and select your size with diligence.

Thank you for your understanding.

*Sizes 13.5 to 15 are all considered semi-custom boots and are bespoke to the customer's feet.

*When choosing artistic skating boots, you may opt for a slightly smaller size than your real size, as the material will experience a minor degree of expansion after the break-in period.

*If your foot size does not match the sizing chart, we recommend ordering semi-custom boots for a better fit and increased comfort.

Don’t worry about size. Even you just order standard boots, we will definitely help you with sizes. If you can send us your feet photos or measurements after placing the order, we will suggest a more proper size for you. Just put any size on the order form first, and then email to salesteam@ghskates.com after ordering to tell us your concerns. We will then absolutely discuss with you about the size and won’t start making your boots before getting confirmation from you.

If you have specially extra narrow or extra wide feet, we suggest you picking the semi-custom made option.

NO RETURNS- We can't accept returns for the wrong sizes. So, if you are picking your size from the chart, please measure and choose your size carefully.

GH family policy:If by any chance you end up getting the wrong size when picking your number based on the chart, we will offer you the opportunity to purchase another pair with 30% off discount. You might want to sell the first pair if it’s not a perfect fit and rest assured you can buy it again at 30% off. To be able to redeem this opportunity, you need to get in touch within 20 days of receiving your skates.
